We are delighted to update you on the progress regarding the formation of our cultural committee, as communicated earlier. We are pleased to announce that the process of establishing the PRC Cultural Committee has been successfully concluded.

We are writing to express our sincere gratitude for your enthusiastic response to our earlier communication regarding the formation of the Purvanchal Cultural Committee. Your overwhelming participation is truly commendable and reflects the vibrant community spirit that we have here at Purvanchal.

After carefully reviewing all the nominations received, I am pleased to announce that we have received a total of 23 nominations across the towers except tower number 3, 4, 14, and 7.

In the event of multiple nominations for a position, we will be conducting a draw of lots by the applicants in the presence of the estate office for their respective towers. This ensures a fair and transparent selection process for all involved.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to every one of you who stepped forward to nominate yourselves or your neighbors. Your willingness to contribute to the cultural fabric of our community is truly inspiring.

We hope you are well and keeping safe.

As we approach the end of the current Cultural Committee's tenure, it is time to begin forming the next committee to continue fostering a vibrant and inclusive community culture. The Cultural Committee has played a crucial role in organizing events, celebrations, and activities that have brought joy and a sense of togetherness to our community. We want to express our sincere gratitude to the outgoing committee members for their dedication and hard work.

We suggest forming a new committee with two representatives from each tower, tasked with overseeing cultural activities in the PRC. The distinctive feature of this arrangement is the inclusion of both a female and a male representative, aiming to ensure gender diversity and equitable representation. The primary responsibility assigned to this committee is the oversight of cultural activities within the PRC. By structuring the committee in this manner, the intention is to foster a balanced and inclusive approach to cultural initiatives, promoting a broader range of perspectives and experiences. This not only emphasizes a commitment to gender equality but also reflects a dedication to cultivating a rich and diverse cultural environment within the PRC.

The membership of the PRC Cultural Committee is open to any person or firm who has purchased and currently resides in a dwelling unit in Purvanchal Royal City and shall become a member of the PRC Cultural Committee. Only the active PRC Cultural Committee is authorized to conduct cultural activities/events, irrespective of caste/religion or reservations.

We request that interested flat owners complete the form for the cultural committee by downloading it from the iSociety app, estate office WhatsApp, and telegram group and submitting it to the estate office by Feb. 15, 2024. The nomination of the said unit owner for the Cultural Committee shall be supported and duly signed by at least 20 flat owners from the same tower. In the event of multiple requests from the same tower, the selection will be made by the draw of lots by the applicants in the presence of the estate office.

General Terms & Conditions:

  1. The meeting of the Culture Committee should be convened with 7 days' notice by the members of the Culture Committee at their registered cell phone number via WhatsApp.
  2. The meeting will be brief. A meeting of the cultural committee can be called at short notice, subject to the following conditions: If the cultural committee is required to have an urgent function, at least 11 members are required. In the absence of such meetings, the decision made at such meetings shall be circulated to all members of the Cultural Committee. It shall be final only upon ratification by at least 11 members.
  3. A quorum was present at the meeting of the Culture Committee with a total of 11 members. If a committee meeting cannot be held due to a lack of a quorum, the meeting shall automatically adjourn to the same time and place the following week. If the committee has no quorum, the remaining members may meet with the estate office and decide.
  4. Cultural committee members must attend at least one monthly meeting to continue their membership. Please find the attached form for nominations.

The safety and well-being of all residents are of utmost importance to us, and we strive to create a secure and comfortable environment for everyone. It has been observed that some residents have been keeping pots and other objects on ledges outside their windows or balconies after repeated reminders, which poses a significant risk to both individuals and the community as a whole.

While we understand the desire to add a touch of greenery or utilize space efficiently, it is crucial to recognize the potential hazards associated with placing pots on ledges. The weight and instability of these objects can lead to accidents, especially during inclement weather conditions or when strong winds are present. A falling pot or object from a significant height can cause severe injuries to individuals below and may even be fatal.

We strongly urge you to remove any pots or objects from the ledges immediately. Instead, we encourage you to explore safer alternatives such as utilizing indoor planters or garden spaces designated within the PRC where plants can be nurtured without compromising safety.

Furthermore, we kindly request your cooperation in reminding your neighbors and fellow residents about the importance of adhering to this safety guideline. We can create a secure living environment that benefits everyone by working together.

Taking place on the night before Makar Sankranti, Lohri marks the passing of the Winter Solstice and symbolizes the anticipation of longer days as the sun moves towards the northern hemisphere.

During Lohri, a customary bonfire is lit, and people offer prayers for a bountiful harvest, expressing gratitude for the prosperity it brings to their families. accompanied by dancing and singing popular folk songs.

We are delighted to announce that the PRC Cultural Committee has organized a Lohri celebration for all residents on January 13, 2024, at 7 pm. The event will take place near the Main Gate Entrance of the society and will include a bonfire, Dhol performances, and dancing. If you have already made the payment for the maintenance charges online but have not submitted the transaction details, please provide the details so that a receipt can be issued. Kindly ignore this reminder if you have already made the payment.

In case of delay in payment after 10.01.2024, the interest @ 10% per annum shall be charged for the first 30 days, and thereafter, appropriate penalty/action will be imposed against the defaulters in addition to the levy of the interest as mentioned above.

We understand that many residents were looking forward to the Christmas Carnival as a highlight of our holiday celebrations. The decision to cancel was not taken lightly, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

As the festive season approaches, we are excited to extend warm greetings and invite you to join us for a magical Christmas Carnival in our PRC! The air is filled with holiday cheer, and we can't wait to celebrate with friends and neighbors.

Festive Fun for Everyone:

Christmas Market: Browse through stalls offering handmade crafts, festive treats, and unique gifts for your loved ones.

Santa's Grotto: Capture the enchantment of the season with a visit to Santa Claus himself. Don't forget to bring your Wishlist!

Live Entertainment: Enjoy the sounds of the season with live music, carolers, and perhaps even a surprise performance or two!

Delicious Treats: Indulge in various seasonal treats, from hot cocoa and cookies to savory delights that tickle your taste buds.

In keeping with the festive spirit, we will offer stalls for food, games, toys, arts, crafts, clothing, jewelry, home décor, and more. The little ones will have a play area where they can engage in various activities.

Since we have a limited number of stalls, it will be first come, first served. Stalls can be booked through the estate office only. For booking, please get in touch with Rahul Sharma at 9717291592.

More than shopping, games, or food, it is the sense of community bonding that brings joy and happiness to all those who will be visiting the Christmas Carnival. Friends will come to meet and greet, and families will enjoy the festive moments together.

As we approach the festive occasion of Diwali, we would like to extend our warmest wishes for a joyous and prosperous celebration. Diwali is a time of light, happiness, and togetherness, and we hope this festival brings you and your loved ones all the happiness and success in the world.

In observance of Diwali, our estate office will remain closed for two days, starting from 13th November. Holiday from Monday, 13th Nov 2023, to Tuesday, 14th Nov 2023, and we will reopen on Wednesday, 15th Nov 2023, at 09:00 AM IST.

During this time, we request that you kindly submit your concerns via the Isociety app. Please note that due to the unavailability of our support team, there may be delays in resolving issues, and we kindly request your understanding and patience during this period.

During the holiday, all types of labour, including painters, carpenters, interior designers, electricians, etc., will not be permitted entry into the Purvanchal Royal City complex.

Furthermore, we would like to emphasize the importance of celebrating Diwali responsibly within our complex. To ensure the safety and well-being of all residents, we kindly request that you do not use fireworks in common areas, within the flats, the lift, or the basements of the complex. Fireworks should be used only outside the main gate in designated areas.

By adhering to these guidelines, we can collectively enjoy the spirit of Diwali while maintaining the safety and comfort of our community.

Activities and arrangements for Chhath Puja 2023:

Morning Worship: The event will commence with the morning rituals, including the offering of 'Arghya' to the rising sun. All participants are encouraged to arrive early to witness this beautiful sunrise ceremony.

Puja Setup: A designated area will be set up for Chhath Puja rituals. We kindly request that participants bring their 'Chhath Vratis' and necessary items for the puja.

Decorations: The terrace will be adorned with festive decorations, and we encourage all residents to participate in creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

Safety and Etiquette: We kindly request all attendees to follow safety guidelines and maintain decorum during the event. Please respect the environment and the privacy of your fellow residents.
